Personally, I have a lot of fun with the DDQ 4* 1 on 1 battles. It’s one of the things I really look forward to each week.
What if on the days that a 4* Battle isn’t going on, that we can have a 1* or 2* 1 on 1 battle?
I think it would be a lot of fun to try putting Moonstone Vs Bagman in a Deathmatch.
Now, because not everyone has the Pokemon mentality I do, it may be worth considering offering a limited selection (like a Heroic PvE) of characters for said 1 on 1 battle.
Now, when I’m suggesting this, I am by no means suggesting handing out Legendary Tokens for these. That’s one of those things that make the 4* battles so special. Even an extra daily Taco Token might be a little too generous. A hefty bulk of Iso on the other hand…
