I’m guessing the dev team has been whittled down to one guy sitting in a closet who occasionally sends an email to Oktagon Support when he’s releasing an update.
I don’t find this to be the case at all. I would be interested to see this happen. In fact, I’m close to the mods in my other main game and they deal with the same guessing game frustrations we do, namely waiting for approval from the App Store.
It’s always been a waiting game when it comes to App approval and getting it loaded up in the store for down loads. I recall October (?) Or the set prior where @Brigby came in to let us know that the app was delayed by 24 hours due to some hiccup with the approval process.
That may be true, but the date it will be submitted to the app store should be known in advance. I agree with Madwren here, other games I play give a date for when the next big update is. I assume they estimate the approval time when they do it, or just have some way to make it a more consistent timeline.
I’ve played Fire Emblem Heroes, Langrisser, Girls Frontline, and Arknights. I’ve played each of them for at least a year, except Arknights, which just released.
In all of these games, we’ve known the release date for a week–or more–in advance. Every time, the target date has been hit. A few times (across all the games listed), the update has been delayed for several hours due to App Store issues, and compensation was provided. However, and I reiterate, they have had no problems both announcing and accomplishing their target. When delays occurred, they were quick to announce them to the appropriate reddit so everyone was aware of the delay and upcoming compensation.
It’s like clockwork.
I have no doubt that some games out there do have problems. However, I’ve dipped into a lot of mobile games over the years beyond those few, and even the ones I played for a few weeks had set release schedules. I suppose I just expect more from a game fronting a premier IP.
@Oktagon_Support I noticed that the previously exclusive Mythic Rares from Eldraine have not been added to the Elite Collection packs for that set, though they are available in crafting. Is this intentional?
This impacts how I go about dealing with the new set, opening packs and crafting and the like so the sooner you can get us an answer about what’s going on the better. I appreciate it!
This is actually intentional.
The Elite Collection Boosters are a special selection of cards from each set.
The former Exclusive Cards do not enter these rotations.
