4* championing dilemma

I’m currently on day 431 and I just received a blue Nick Fury from daily, with my current Nick Fury at level 127 5/5/3.

I am also doing very well in EotS and looks like I will be receiving at least two X Force wolvie covers. The top 10 green will be useful for my 188 2/5/5 X force, but I will have another spare yellow.

I currently have 222,000 ISO and championing either characters will take over 300k.

Ideally of course I collect enough ISO before either covers expire and champion both (12 days to go for 400k ISO!) but that doesn’t seem likely.

Who should I champion? I know I’ll be having another Nick fury cover down the road from another daily, so I can add two levels to him, but I know I will be using X force more (I like to use him), but he likely will get only one.

Totally torn about this and I really appreciate suggestions and feedback.

Looking at your roster, I presume you’re using Hulkbuster and Iron Fist in Versus?

Would it not be better to max Hulkbuster first, so you would have an easier time going for the 1k covers? when I had an underleveld Hulkbuster, winning matches were easy, but I was still getting attacked quite a lot. Once I maxed him, the attacks were pretty much reduced to less than half.

Having Nick Fury and Wolverine championed wouldn’t deter other players from attacking you. They are useful in Story Mode, but they are juicy targets in Versus, even when boosted. Both of mine are still at lvl 200, because I’ve got other characters I wanted to level up first. They are still useful when they are essential.

Personally, I’d use the iso you get from selling those covers for Hulkbuster.
