There are a few known issues with our new buddy Iron Fist (Lin Lie) that we are aware of and will be fixing ASAP:
Yellow enemy special tiles are targeted instead of only non-Yellow tiles when converting enemy special tiles to Yellow for Fist of the Chosen
The Protect tiles created by Divine Heritage remain the same strength instead of increasing when leveling up Iron Fist (Lin Lie) in the Roster
Ability animations are missing (which we did know about, just due to time constraints on this particular release, we had to put the animations in separately)
Due to a number of factors, this fella just came in hot. We don’t expect to be doing this for upcoming characters moving forward. But (again) thank you for your patience while this is resolved.
Small thing, but it means a lot for those that work on the comics themselves and the history of the comics. But can you please add the cover artist like the other comic covers?
If they’re missing that would be another bug for my list.
Do you have a screenshot? I am seeing those details on my account when I view the cover.

I see the cover in my game you list, and Jim Cheung was indeed the artist. Fantastic cover. Looks good to me.
A different note…not a character bug, but the standard events for new releases include a PVP leading into the new person’s PVP. That preceding PVP always rewards the new person in placement.
So the 3* High Evol PVP happening now should give us some covers/shards for new IF in placement (presuming you place high enough etc), but it’s giving Sandman in placement instead, who was/is next in the alphabetical order that usually drives who is rewarded as a 4 (also true for 5s) in PVP.
Presumably the next PVP after 3 High Evo will be Lin IF. It’s disappointing to not get the opportunity to earn covers for him in this one.
(The Lin IF PVP should have his cover/shards in progression.)
Another question: Is 3 Iron Fist supposed to feed this new Lin Lei Iron Fist? He feeds 4* Danny IF right now and Karnak, so you could swap in Lin IF for Karnak to him as a secondary feeder.
Not sure if that’s in the plans and just hasn’t been done yet, or not.

Nevermind, I figured out what happened. I clicked on the shards and it only shows one cover, which doesn’t show the Cover Artist. I have to click on the actual cover itself for the name to show up. Thanks for checking into this!
He doesn’t count as an Iron Fist for the purposes of the Win 15 missions with an Iron Fist on your team quest; at least the loaner in welcome to shield doesn’t. So maybe it’s an in-owned character thing
Part of it is that the descriptions they use for the quest are never complete. They are missing the part that you can only use the particular Iron First (can’t remember his name) who starts as a 3* and you can ascend from there. The other two don’t count for the quest. They have had issues with descriptions of quests ever since the new devs took over in early January.
The new Unstable iso-8 PVE doesn’t have a vault associated with it. PVE vaults have the essentials populated in them so the 4E being new IF means you’d have a cover for him in the vault to use your pulls/HP on. Instead we got what appears to be something like a release store version of the Unstable iso 8 store with The Maker in it at slightly higher odds along with Quake, 3 Goose and Bob being weighted as if they were essentials.
The new DDQ vault always has the current crash’s 4 in it as the first 4, then the next week’s crash as the second 4. (Third is random). New IF is the second 4 for the new vault so that suggests that maybe his crash is set in the schedule for next week already? Also under the current pattern, next week should be a dual crash week (they alternate between single and dual crashes). Anyway if the schedule thinks next week should be Lin IF’s crash already that will be a bit of a challenge, I assume, and very off schedule which always follows the “alphabetical order yb sub name and add new 4s into the order when they fall into the order” so Lin shouldn’t have a Crash until we are into the Ls (we are on the A’s now) so that’s probably sometime in late 2027 or early 2028.
edit: ha ha, @DonnieBrooke made the same point about the crash as I was typing it up.
