At least a heads up a week in advance would be nicer then just dropping the bomb on us a few days in advance. Though for sure they said another 4 star was looking at bookending the month… Yes i know its thanksgiving weekend but if they are planning on releasing it the sooner they let us know the better, so people can try to find a way to work around Eating time to play it 
That is my guess, they also said there would be a new story event with the release, so it’s not gauntlet.
Most of the 4-star releases have conincided with holidays. So yes, the next 4-star will be released Thanksgiving weekend.

It’s an American holiday where we take a day off of work, school, etc., so families can eat a lot of food and point and laugh at the Detroit Lions as they embarrass themselves on national TV.

It is a company policy for D3 to release new characters during holidays. didn’t you get the memo?
pretty sure they are in the states meaning 99.9% will be gone from weds to sunday so if something happened no1 would be anywhere around, that is why i be really shocked if they released anything new around this time

This is the same company that pushed anniversary celebrations back to a week after the actual anniversary. Meaning a new, big event when they would be gone at NYCC and over the weekend.
yeah, that 2nd anniversary thing was another in a long line of debacles. The fact that no one was around to mind the store while folks were over at NYCC sorta tells ya how tiny D3’s operation really is. . .
Yeah, seriously. It’s like they coordinate their patches, releases, and new things specifically for times when no one will be around to troubleshoot. So, yes, definitely a new character over Thanksgiving weekend, and also a new event to go with them!

Wasnt there some mention of Totally Awesome Hulk coming to MPQ on December 2nd? Might that mean he is the next 4*, and released in a week-long new PvE?
I hope it won’t be a 7 day event (w/ seven subs). That will be a pain in the rear.
