I am thinking about spending them on latest legends before Natasha goes into classic limbo. Chances are pretty good that I can champ her. In addition I will probably grab some Strange and Thanos covers as well.

1/3/5 (a 6th black is waiting to be changed if I am the lucky one)
I could also wait for her to be in classic legends and try my luck there. My
(4/2/2) and my
(4/1/2) could use some covers too.
Or I just keep on hoarding and wait for better options to use my command points (the next 5* maybe?).
If you are considering spending your CP, I recommend sticking with Latest Legends. The Classics are too diluted to be considered a reasonable option. Additionally, as far as I am aware, CS still allows players who pull dupes from the Latest tokens to exchange for other covers, while this service is not available for Classics. (*Please note: This service will reportedly be discontinued at an undisclosed time)
The only real benefit from Classics is that they allow you extra pulls since they are cheaper so if you are more invested in building your 4*s that would be the better option.
But if you are on the fence, then I say why not wait? Something will eventually have to be done with the Classic pool dilution issue and as history as shown us, more and more powerful characters get released later down the line. (Although to the dev’s credit, the 5* tier is rather well balanced remarkably).
Although if you play PvE competitively, Thanos and/or Dr. Strange are must haves in my humble opinion.
But I guess it really falls to what you are looking to get out of your investment.

I would spend on latest legends, you should be able to max Natasha, and Thanos and Strange are great. If you didn’t have Natasha close to max I would say wait though.
i don’t even save 20 CP (buying classics because I need 4’s more than 5’s)

That’s a great stash, I agree with the others, latest legends are your best bet for finishing 1 or more 5stars. But the decision also ultimately rests on if you want to jump to the 5* MMR, it will irreversible change your game experience, for better or worse is debatable.
Well first of all, you should wait one or two weeks. Next char is going to be a 5 most probably, so you should wait until he is announced and you can check his stats. Then at least you can decide if you like him more than BW.
The big decision comes afterwards, 5000CP are 200 latest or 250 classic. With latest you can probably max cover one or two 5s, maybe all of them, with classic depending your initial state for your current 5s, you might champ one of those 8 or 7 cover chars, but the risk is big. So probably latest is the safest bet.
It depends on if you want to jump to 5 land or not. Strange and Thanos are amazing and BW is also really good, so it is not a bad group of 5s, but expect to use them everywhere (Thanos BW for PvP, BW and Strange for PvE). If you go classic you will get a ton of 4s, so if you already have a good number of champions you migh get a very strong 4 roster (remember that 4s at 320+ level are reaaaally strong). How many 4 champions do you have? Have you saved iso too? (You will probably need 1.5M at least)
I dont think dilution in classic will be fixed soon, maybe never, and Devs will just add another way of wining 5s in scl10…

I am not sure if Natasha would really help me but it would be a welcome variety. I use OML/PHX/SS all the time (since months) because MMR and scaling forces me to.
If you want to max Natasha, then just pull latest until you get 4 more covers for her. If CS will help you out, that will be enough to max her and shouldn’t take your whole CP stash. On average, 4 more Natasha covers should happen in 80 pulls or so. Then you can keep the rest of your stash and decide when you want to spend the rest.
It makes sense to only pull until you actually get Widow to 13, right? You don’t have to blow the whole stash, since the other characters aren’t really going anywhere. Also you have until the end of the season before whatever character comes out next will replace BW in any case.
Spend 2,880 CP and buy BW covers directly, then continue hoarding till next 5* is out and see if it’s worth waiting for it to join latest, or if not, go for BW champ levels + Thanos/Strange covers.

Wait for next 5* sounds like the best bet, then pull normal latest till you get what you need.
Fivestars are added to Legendary tokens after their release event ends, they do not follow the new season rule.
Personally I have found Black Widow to be pretty nasty in PvP. She’s rarely a high priority target, so she has time to pull those nasty powers off…

Black Panther should enter Latest Legends on Monday. If I were in your shoes, I’d chase Natasha’s last cover while you still have a chance to get it at reasonable odds.

I’m not sure what the delima here is. Seems to me that pulling for the 13th BW is the only way to go. Particularly because once she moves to classics, you also run the risk of not being able to swap out a cover if you pull her 3rd power. Awesome stash, btw. I’m super jealous!
