Not because of losing to a player, tho I have had more than a few close calls, but because the game froze. It would let me pause, but wouldn’t let me make a match. Pretty depressing, D3. Loroku, you jinxed me!

I remember when I cared about winstreaks; now win speed is all that matters.
I insta-quit any time a Mizzium Meddler pops up and I’m not already way ahead on board. The card is beatable, but it’s so annoying, and slows down the game so much it’s just not worth it to play it out. In the same time as I could beat a Jace deck with Mizzium Meddler on board I could win 3 games vs any other matchup. It’s easily the worst designed card in the set since the changes to the bounce mechanic. When Meddler is on board you have to play an entirely different subgame that is slow and annoying and requires way more effort than it’s worth. What a poorly thought out piece of crap it is.
I agree the Meddler is annoying and makes you play different, but I think it works well and that it seems well designed. You shouldn’t be able to just steamroll everything. That it requires different tactics is a good thing it changes things up. Not what I want to hit though when I’m trying to get to a certain rank in QB before the end of time though.
Agreed. When looking at his original MTG card, you have to wonder why they buffed and gave it the ability they did. If it was something like “Whenever you make a match, half the mana gained is allocated to the last card in your hand” instead, it would still be annoying, but not nearly as much as it is.
That being said, I’d be much more furious if I was tied for 1st with 4 minutes to go and lost because of a freeze bug instead of losing because Mizzium stalled me for too long.
And I’ve got enough time on my hands to ensure 1st place when I want it. Can’t think of a single time I lost because I couldn’t play fast enough. Just really wanted to see that 4 figure win streak and it’s depressing, especially if I hit 300, since I know I would have had it

Heh, this. I know just the freeze you’re referring to, it’ll often happen on my Samsung Galaxy as I swipe tiles down at the bottom of the screen. Galaxy switches into open-program-selection mode, and about 1/5 of the time I go back to MtGPQ and it’s frozen
