Anyone know who this is?
The line came from the message when you start the app.
There has been speculation over the last week when the Patch Preview came up, but nothing definite. Gambit and Nightcrawler are the most guessed I believe.
Only speculations.
Gambit and Cyclops both placed pretty highly on the most wanted character poll back before the Anniversary so it could be one of them. People have been saying the charged tile mechanic would be perfect for Gambit. The other part of the hint is “as SUMMER turns to fall”. People say that refers to Cyclops since his last name is Summers.
It could also be nightcrawler or shadowcat based on the shadows part of the hint.
It could be nothing in the message is a clue to who it is and it will just be whatever mutant they want to release.
I was asking myself the same question.
So the next PvE will bring a new character ? Is that what it means ?

Could be the next one. Could be next season. We have no timeline.
The last PVE introduced Blade. Generally, every other PVE has introduced a new character, but there was no gap between Ms. Marvel and Blade, and the Gauntlet didn’t “count” last time, so we’re in a more ambiguous place than usual on that front.
I wouldn’t mind at least another week before they introduced another character.
My HP stack is dwindling and I need some events in between to restock before buying another Hero Slot.
Not to mention the demands of placing well to win the character in the first place.
IceIX said in a thread a while ago that Cyclops wasn’t even under consideration. I doubt they’ve stepped up developing him in time for a release soon.
I’m willing to bet it’s Gambit - he won the poll they had a while ago, and they’ve been pretty good about giving us what we want (kinda).

Never thought about it but Kitty Pryde is pretty good shout, my first instinct was Kurt Wagner than anyone else.
Scott isn’t the only Summers. Nathan, perhaps?

And then Christmas they bring out that one huge present from the garage that’s strangely bike shaped.
I rather ISO-8 Brotherhood than a Heroic PVE any day, and that should help some depending on the end times of the subs.
