There i was sitting at day 225+, nicely developed 3* Roster, some T10 Story Mode finishes, quite a few T100 PVP finishes, getting to merc out a bit for extra rewards, thought i had things figured out and was doing well.. when it started to get really repetitive.. had never hit 1k in a PVP, had never experienced the high end game, was close to giving up on 4*'s all together…

Then this season happened. A couple forumites, after reading a thread i made, reached out.. and wow, i never knew how much i had left to learn about this game.

Going to leave out names, you know who you are, but with their help, both online and off, i had 4 consecutive 1k’s in PVP, learned a whole new style of playing, finished with my best season score and ranking ever (had never broken 8k in a season, finished 9200+!!!)

And to top it off, i had merc’d out for XDP’s event to get an extra cover, and was asked to stay until the end of the season! Out of all the times i had merc’d for a Story Event, this was the first time i was ever asked to stick around.

Not sure if you realize how good it feels.. a HUGE THANK YOU to the Raging Fury alliance for my first ever T100 alliance season reward! Another HUGE thank to to the alliances and individuals to helped me reach my PVP goals.. now it is time to decide what i really want from the game from here on out, but that is another thread.

Thanks to a super easy slice, I won my season with a score of 7219 (next closest was Dark-Arrow with 6348, so yeah… pretty easy slice…) .

Opened the 4 Ten packs and got a Psylocke Bewilder that I needed. That’s it. I’m at that stage of the game where I only need about four 3* covers to max cover all of them, so unless I get a lucky 4* pull, I’m pretty much sending every cover I get to the ISO bank.

That’s the oddest part about seasonal rewards.

4 ten packs of heroics is like literal heaven on earth for a 3 star transition-er, for the person who is able to get first in pvp? It’s cute but nearly useless.
