Activation on Blazing Hellhound

Blazing Hellhound activates 1 red mana but doesn’t deal it’s damage to the first creature of my opponent.
Do I need to use the mana first in a “row” or should it deal damage when it activates that red mana??

  1. This is the Marvel puzzle quest forum, not the Magic the Gathering Puzzle quest forum. Right company, wrong section.

  2. Creatures that have an activate ability that goes onto a tile (in this case red) do need to have that specific tile matched to trigger their ability. Not just cleared, but actually matched.
