Is Magneto (classic) & Spiderman (classic) a good team to get high ranks? My spidey is maxed but my Mags 5/2/3 is only around ~70. I am focused leveling Mags now though.
Or should I be using one of these characters? I also have Thor, Wolvie 2**, Dr. Doom, and Punisher all around ~85. Haven’t had any luck with Rag covers 
To be honest, I only use Spidey in lightning round when I need a heal. He doesn’t do much damage. I’d focus on villains and characters that do damage
Honestly, with those levels you already have a top 8 team. If you like Doom, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to lvl him up. Otherwise, just focus on maxing Mags. 2 top 25 finishes should be really easy to finish off purple.
Thanks for the help guys. I’ll focus on leveling Mags plus a damage dealer (Wolvie or Thor, maybe Doom would be better choice since he’s boosted). And save Spidey for heals when needed.
I’ve been top 8 in Doom tourneys. Top 25 in Mags and Rag. I purposely maintain 26-50 in the other 3 tourneys so I can get the D. Token for a chance at Rag covers.
I guess my real question was, ‘Is Spidey good for LRs?’ lol.
Spidey if you have max blue is very very good. you can perma-stun lock and heal which keeps your team in shape for the next battle. My biggest problem is always running out of health kits which spidey/original widow…can help with. (as of now they are the only two healers in the game).
Spidey can be good for taking down “one huge dude” teams. But he’s a bit slow and squishy for lightning rounds, and is AWFUL on defense in LR’s due to his squishiness. I’m more likely to skip on a lv 70 doom than a lv 141 Spidey.
