I’ve never looked too closely at alliances so I’m pretty ignorant about them. I assumed it was simply a social feature but I’m guessing I’m wrong. If anyone can help me out I’d really appreciate it!
Basically I’m just wondering what the advantages of joining (or forming) an alliance are?
So it is just a social feature?
For now, yes. There have been several announcements, however, that Alliances are meant to also play a certain role in gameplay, i.e. Alliances leaderboards, tourneys etc. At some point in the future being in a decent Alliance may be beneficial for the player. Until then, it’s not very significant, though.
