Anyone else having the game crash on launching the game after patch update? I don’t even see patch notes, so I’m not sure what is going on, but I was asked to download a new update and after I did the game crashes when I try to launch it. Tried rebooting phone, still crashes.
This is on my Android Note 4. Anyone else?
Same here. Galaxy S6.
What Android versions are you guys on? My S4 on 5.1 is handling the update fine, so it may be an interaction with the OS.
My phone is up to date running 5.0.1

To give a little more details, it appears to crash on launch as the game is trying to download additional resources. There is a pause download button just before the game crashes. I cannot interact with the button before it crashes.
Uninstalled entire app and reinstalled. Am good to go. Make sure your game is saved to Facebook first if you try this.
I was getting same thing as Zantom
I was going to try and uninstall and reinstall. However, I was hoping to avoid doing so as losing my account or something weird happening (even though it is saved to facebook) is so scary I was going to wait to see if any response from dev before I try. But I guess I will give it a shot. Thanks AvengerSki.
I am stuck in some tutorial now??? How do I get my fb account restored???
I think I’ve read that that comes after completing the tutorial.
I don’t know what to do. I only see the option to save to facebook, not restore from facebook. The idea of losing my account makes me sick to my stomach. I have spent hundreds on this game over the years and lead an active alliance. How do I get back???
Do devs even look at these threads???
Nevermind, phew. The way the wording is on the menu for restoring Facebook makes it look like you are going to overwrite. Looks like I am back in business. Damn that was scary for a moment there.
Sadly, people have the reaction all the time. They really ought to reword that dialogue.
Also happened on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7.xx. I deleted the app, reinstalled, downloaded my data from FB and it’s working now.

I’m having exactly the same issue as everyone else using an experia z1 accept I’m not on Facebook and don’t wish to join, is there any other options?
I have the same problem, but I refuse to use Facebook. I’ve had a c/s ticket in for a week. The last time this happened, they had a new update fix in just a day, and I was able to get back to playing.
