Why would the vault reset without warning? With 60 pulls gone I still had over half the 5* covers remaining, several good 4*, and the top 2 HP rewards.
I dealt with the bad luck at the start to even out at the end and draw some of the better rewards. That’s the way vaults work. Now that it’s been cleared without warning the odds have been completely changed.
What a shitty move. Let’s see what the devs have to say.
I was not happy either to see that happen. What’s the point of giving us the ability to reset the vault if they do it behind our backs.

There was a warning in the fact it showed X number of days remaining. Yesterday was the final day for the old vault.

Yeah the vault expired today, the expiration date was on there the whole time. It’s nice that they gave us a new one.

This is not correct. Roughly 48hrs ago, they extended the anniversary vault timer by 12day. Mine went from 1d 9hrs to 13days 9hrs; that was when i noticed it. This implies the vault was extended. No reasonable person would assume the vault would will still close on the previously displayed timer.

But they updated the vault before it expired with an extended end time. If it said 30 minutes before reset, 30 minutes to go, yeah fair. But yesterday it said 11 days left so one wouldn’t expect a reset

Huh. I didn’t notice it changed! I assumed it’d end today.

Not happy about this, I had intended to pull again one last time from what I had left, not spending the HP now.
Mine reset when it showed 11 days remaining. I was about 15 away from finishing It. All that was left was 5 stars and hero coins.
Doubt they will do anything about it other than shrug the shoulders , blame a bug and go, “oh well”
I didn’t mind the reset.
Having already obtained what I wanted from the first vault (but not interested enough to “pay” to reset it), I was just sitting on tokens waiting for the post-event vault to open.
Now I just get to pull a little bit early.
It does suck, however, for those who were actively progressing in the vault and now had the rug pulled from underneath them. If the timer expired, that’s one thing. If it was extended but then shut down (days??) early, that’s a bad move on the devs’ part.
I wasn’t planning on pulling for this vault, so I didn’t actively try to clear or buy it out. But I was also surprised that my vault reset after 70 ish pulls. Honestly, I wasn’t gonna buy out the rest, but I can definitely see how people got screwed over especially if they were trying to go out with a 40pack..
Not trying to diminish the various degrees of suck for everyone, but speaking for myself, the sting would hurt a lot less if those Dec & Jan Deals vaults from last year rolled back around again.
Easy solution, empty the vault more often, then you’ll be less impacted. Easy-peezy.
Seems like Ghost Rider and Friends vault also resetted. Is this one of the latest features we can look forward to along with the new engine?
Better solution just don’t force re-set the vault.
Fair warning, then – the current 11th Anniversary vault expires in 4d 16h, which will make it to midnight on Monday (EST,) if my math is correct. That means they’ll either reset it again or else the Anniversary tokens we get from completing the Season on Thursday will be “Post-Event.”
We will get the anniversary tokens from Season end around midnight on Sunday though? About 24 hours before the vault closes.
