Just bought the last God I was missing and was mulling over what kind of deck to build around him obviously he’s rakdos so he could go with Bolas any suggestions
The synergy with Bolas is pretty obvious - destroy a creature, draw a card. That being said, I don’t feel the card is really good enough to build around.
It’s special abilities require other creatures to function. The -3/-3 is nice, but I usually find Activate abilities unreliable. That said, you could pair it up with other cards that give -x/-x effects. Grind, Hapatra, Soul-Scar Mage, Blightcaster, Languish, etc. If you could keep up a regular stream of -/- effects coming, it could do okay as passive removal. Doesn’t seem especially powerful, though, I think it’d be hard to do consistently.
You could go with a kill-heavy deck and use it as a draw engine, maybe paired with Avaricious Dragon to get some extra gem destruction? But I’m not sure if this would be more efficient than other draw options in the game.
