Saw a store offer with 5* Jouaquin Torres falcon shards in it. It’s gone now but I don’t think I dreamt that I saw it….

My guess is, if they put it as 5*, most likely MCU version…
It’s definitely Falcon. Seems like his kit is a bit off.
His yellow with 5 covers, he goes airborne for 40 turns and boosts tiles by 2166%.

It’s not the MCU version, it’s the comic version who got mutated into a half-bird horror.
Usually I’d agree but after the last few months, that power set is almost believable
You can find shards for Falcon (Joaquin Torres) in the placement rewards for “Webbed Wonder.” The numbers seem to be really strange. His red does this at 1 and 5 covers:
Bird of Prey (6 Red) Deal 866 hits of 10 damage to the target, then reduce the damage of this ability by 8. If used while airborne, add an extra hit then Falcon returns from being airborne.
Passive - If Falcon is airborne, increase this damage by 1, if SAP tiles have been boosted increase by 8.
At 5:
Deal hits 2126 damage of 40 then reduce this damage by 4.
Passive - increase damage by 5 or 15 if SAP have been boosted.
This is off the scale if you have a power booster or strike tiles out. 2126 hits?!?
These numbers have to be off.
An ally mate pointed out that our dev team remains deep underwater, and likely this character art was done up to release a Joacquin Falcon for the movie (same pose as 5* Sam). Then Marvel probably told them “nope, you’re releasing Sam” so they shelved the art etc.
And so the guys who are struggling to add events NEEDED to release a character, because we always need to release characters, so we got a leftover guy from last February.
Anyway, that seems incredibly likely, because the art isn’t very good, and looks much more like BCS art than IP2 art.
None of this is new. How many years after GotG did we get the random Ronan 5* release? Pretty sure Hela was the same. Ultron. Drax and Mantis. They obviously have these characters in their locker from certain events and can’t release them all at that time but are useful inventory if they need a break for a ready to go release.

He looks pretty decent mechanically. Certainly much better than poor Swordmaster. Shame about the art. Swordmaster definitely wins there (it’s about the only thing he’s winning)

I thought I was short as well since I only had 1 cover on the vine, but the first cover you get automatically recruits him to your roster.
Count your total covers versus what you are supposed to receive. You only get 11 total for a 475 4as5 Red Hulk instead of 12.

Yep, it appears to have messed up. I only got the one red cover and shards, not the 2nd red cover it shows in Red Hulk rewards
I haven’t gotten anything at all yet. I have two Red Hulks, both 5*, one at lvl514 and one at lvl473.
