Yup, I keep them for nostalgia. Have occasionally been tempted to use some just to see if they actually still work.

I’ve got the same ones - 5 of the X-Men Damage, 18 of the Nightcrawler Damage, and 30 each of everything else. I always forget about these, so they are just sitting there unused. I have no idea if they even work…

I started burning through those once we got a milestone for using boosts.

Ordinarily, I would’ve kept them. Making the screen longer meant the scroll wasn’t efficient at a time when I cared about speed. So, I used them all up to get rid of them.

Since I can’t compete with my roster, might as well compete with my 22 different “retired” boosts.

What a wild week game wise. A new to me pve, albeit broken, that last ran a couple months before I started my journey. And now I’m learning about all theses old types of boosts. Those who still have some, can they still be used? Or do they just sit there with the retired banner? Why did they retire them? Too specific a use? I ask because I noticed one was specifically for using against maggia.

They weren’t retired as much as limited. A new character would come out with 10 specific boosts. Things like that.

I just counted 29 retired Boosts. There were some I used early on when I couldn’t complete a Crash and then forgot to unselect them, which made me sad.

Lots of retired boosts. I think it would be safe to say most of our current boosts are doing retirement home interviews currently.

They do still work, I have used some recently on the daily quests that require you to use one boost. I also used some on one of the crash nodes a few months ago.

Thanks for the history lesson y’all. I find a lot of the stuff from before my time interesting. The progress of the game, good and bad and in between.

Now I just gotta remind my collector mindset that it’s ok there is something in the game that I will never be able to acquire.
