D3 probably will not announce in advance when they’re having a sale, most likely because it’d be bad for business, with more people waiting for the sale before they purchase anything.

50hp for 250 iso every day so far from the ID4 vault, not even my 2 tokens from cap PVP could save me.. another 250/250 iso.. (all 2* covers)
this means my chances of getting a 4* have increased now right??? RIGHT???
Just drink a few shots, and that 8% chance of 4 
will look like 80% chance.

Last year, there was a sale concurrently to the Google Summer Sale. iOS users did not have this sale though. Steam sale was a bit before. If I remember well.
So it was not a D3 sale so to say.
Apparently there is no method to getting good pulls from what I have seen and tested. I have tried doing this with both the id vault and the ddq:
So what I do is watch for a cover that I want to pop into the cycle (I will use PX blue as example because that is what I have been after from my vault) and start taking note of who is popping up before them. You must have a good idea of who is available in the vault to make “checkpoints” so lets say in my vault I have 1 IF token, 1 Mystique token, 1 Cage token, etc…as these 1 shots per cycle I start to count turns until my desired cover comes up.
Now when you tap the screen on a selection the wheel cycles two more times, so we will say there were 18 options between Cage and PX, so when cage pops I count 16 selections and tap it, 1 cycle, then next in rotation would be PX. The problem is that even though I have timed out my selection the vault swaps out what should have been the earned token for something else. Pretty crappy that even thought they show you what you “could” win the cycle changes. I plan to try it again tomorrow when I have more tokens but will try for a 3* to see if the vault only swaps 4*'s.

But all jokes aside, since we’re gonna be getting free tokens from PVP, might as well make the most of it. And 1/50 chance is MUCH better than 1/300 IMO
