I understand it’s good strategy to sometimes make inferior matches to protect your own special tiles, but anyone else ever carry this too far?
I just gave up a bunch of health and probably cost myself a health pack early, because I got crazy neurotic about protecting a strike tile. Is anyone else as dumb as I am?

I pretty much match them whenever I need the color and can’t find a way to protect it, because letting it sit there is just asking for the other side to match it, and if someone’s going to do it, it might as well be me, as long as that’s a color I need.
it depends, if its a countdown then ofc but a striketile not really if i can get enough for a second berserk then i will do it

No, I get that if is going to be matched it should be by me, I mean like moving a match apart by making an inferior match so that your tile hangs out longer. Or not setting up your tile to be matched when you see it coming. Not just letting the computer match it.
Anyway, I guess I’m the only idiot. It’s lonely at the top.
I do try to move it out of the way if I can, but it’s rarely possible.
I think the most strike tiles I had at once was around 20. It was amazing. I didn’t want the enemy to die and just let it go on forever.
I use storm a lot.
It’s impossible to even think about special tiles.
One PVE node some events back forced me to use storm and daredevil.
It was a depressing combo.

Daken is good for Storm spam he just keeps adding more as she wrecks the joint
