Hey guys, My friend and I were having a discussion that we disagree on. If you beat a PvE node that for example gave 100iso 250iso and 500 and a command point obviously most people want the command point, the question is if you beat that node is it a 25% for each reward or are the better rewards “slanted” so that they are rarer?
Thanks
sorry if this has been asked, i ran a search on reward and came up with 900 some odd results and looked through some but didn’t find it.
It works as:
1st pull - 25% chance of any given reward out of the 4.
2nd+ pull - 50% chance of 20 Iso, 50% chance of new reward. If new reward, rolls randomly between still available rewards.
And the reason that the devs won’t (maybe it’s can’t but I’m a tad cynical on this) change this is because the more times you have to attempt the hardest node the more likely you are to need health packs. Since there is a time limit to how often you can attempt the node you will be more likely to spend money on HP to buy healthpacks in order to get the CP before the sub expires.
Fairly simple reasoning really. While those of who are F2P (or close to it) might feel a bit aggrieved by this we have to remember it is a business.
We now have a definitive answer on the math portion, adding sticky and locking thread to keep it easy to read and readily available until a permanent home for this info is found (probably in the FAQ)
