Seems like some of the recent character art has just been off. Could it be they can’t keep up with the rate of new characters? Maybe this isn’t the problem but, if it is, it seems the artists and the players could use a slower release of new characters.
How do you mean “off”? Specifics?
Most recent ones. New wolverine has a few lighting problems. Elektra looks like a 4th grader at a costume party. Luke cage now, doesn’t even look strong or even bulky for that matter. The cover they used is good I think, but they chose to go polar opposite with his art design. Just a strange choice.
Captain Marvel’s “I’m poopin!” expression is still the low point for art in the game, I think. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed that yet.
Also, Lazy Daken is incredibly stupid looking, but that’s not really the art team’s fault; that more a problem with character design when he was created. He’s the Cable of the oughts.
I imagine their art team is just one person. Needing to make a minimum of two new characters each month along with images and animations for powers, they are probably worked enough.
