They used Famine as their baseline for character strength, it was bound to be true sooner or later! It would be a lot of fun if they dealt damage or gained AP but could still be wacky on a Polaris/Anti-Polaris team
Famine in his Feast Mode.
This is who I am working on now! I love characters that are kinda self sustaining!
Did this one get adjusted?
I think that’s a boosted number. Normally I say that in here, but I must’ve left it off.
Create a strong protect tile and heal himself every time yellow is matched. It looks like infinite yellow 2a5 cap has found his perfect partner
Very frustrated. Spent a long time getting Iron Patriot ascended to 5*, only to have his AP requirement for purple go from 10 to 12 with no improvement on the ability.
It actually costs only 9 AP at 4 star. I realise this won’t make you feel better…
The improvement to the ability (in a vacuum) is that his 5 star match damage is much higher, so the crits will do that much more. Obviously when already paired with high match damage teammates this won’t necessarily make much difference.
I bet his other two abilities are much better though. That yellow is no joke, it puts out sooo many protect tiles. I’ll bet he combos well with others that benefit from those. Maybe Hagatha or Captain Britain?
There’s really no difference between 10 and 12 (or 9 and 12) – either both your supports fire and you can cast it, or neither of them fire and you can’t. Iron Patriot is way better at 5
outside of that power, so the increase matters even less.
I thought I remembered him at 9AP on the purple, but once I ascended him, I could only double check against the 3* version I still have.
He’s still one of the best 2a5 and I use him pretty much every time he’s boosted. With ap boosts and ap supports I can often start with 12 or more purple and once you fire his purple one time it’s usually game over. Main event hulks very similar purple power costs 14
