I have 7 3* fully maxed and leveled. I also have a 2/5/1 Fury at level 128 max 172. At what level will he bump me into harder PVE and PVP scaling?
I know I probably shouldn’t level him until he’s fully covered, but he’s fun to play and I couldn’t resist.

I’ve leveled my X-Force up to 166 (and have a few 3* 166’s) and as far as I can tell have the same PvE scaling as players who only have 3* 166’s. So I’d guess you could take your Fury to 166 without consequences in PvE.
I don’t know if it’s just me and my roster or if it’s that I’m one of the crazy grinders that hit every refresh I can. But about 3 weeks ago, I took my Xforce up to 200, and Hulk up to 160. Since then, my PvE has been a lot more difficult. (not really counting the current simulator event since the scaling on it seems a bit screwed up).
It appears to be based on the top of your roster, though how is unclear, plus other factors, but in any case raising someone to Level X when you already have someone else at Level X shouldn’t raise things much, if at all. Raising someone to X+40 is likely to, however. I plan on taking my 4s to 170 and stopping for that reason, once I"ve got my 3s to 166 (which is 5.5 levels away, currently).
I have the same question, I’m sitting at lvl 160 with my X-Force because I won’t be able to play if I raise him to lvl 200 and then get insane (even more insane) scaling on PvE and full 166-200+ rosters on PvP. Right now I’m fighting lvls 94-120 or so until I reach 300-400 points then I start to get 166s but can manage until I get to 500-600. After that I usually start seeing some 200s+ and I’m unable to progress much.
My roster:
4* wolv: 166 able to lvl up to 250 5/3/5 (waiting to see if I get some lucky drop from tokens and get black to 5)
3* thor: 150 (softcapped at 153)
Punisher: 140 (softcaped at 140)
3* Spiderman: 130 (softcap at 153)
Daredevil: 130 (softcap at 140)
Panther: 125 (softcap at 153)
The hood: 125 (5/3/5, I don’t think its worth lvling until I have blue at 5)
Those are my most lvled characters. I can’t get to 166 with any of my “mains”, thats why I’m not sure if its worth to risk lvling my X-Force and then having to fight lvls 200 with not capped 3*s.
What do you think guys, I quite frustrated to see that lvling my chars makes the game even more dificult and frustrating. I don’t have any other 4* playable and won’t be able to get any cover unless they gift them to us, I’m on a very casual alliance and usually rank around 500-600 points (4k for the season aprox) so no big rewards for me.
Again, honestly, we don’t know.
