At what point are you put into a bracket?

I’ve always wondered this. Is it when you click on the event? Or…is it when I check the point value of a node? Or is it when I actually complete the node? Or would I be alocated a bracket when I check the prize for the event?

I’ve never been sure and I’d hate to find I’d put myself in a bracket just checking what the prize was and end up losing valuable time without realising it.

For PVP it is now when you fight a battle, win or loose.

I would imagine it is the same for PVE.
