Played the “Battles from the ages” even and it ended right after I won the exclusive card. It said the event had ended even though there was 7 hours left to go. I never lost a match and missed out on the 35 mana jewels. Considering the fact you have to pay 100 mana crystals to play the event, this is a bit disappointing.
Never mind. Turns out I had played the seven matches, I thought I had only played six. Everything is working fine.
