Best teams in a hypothetical tourney

Was a suggestion for color restricted tournaments. No such thing exists but if they did and worked by locking out all characters with a chosen color who would you play with? So a no-green tournament means no hulk, no wolvie, no torch, no 2-3* thor etc.

What would be your favorite team in a tournament with no :
Red
Blue
Yellow
Green
Purple
Black

Honestly we might not even notice in a tournament with no purple allowed but what would be your go to team in a world with no green, black, or red?

No green - LCap, Hood, (IM40/BP/Cage/Cpt Marvel)

No Green: CMAGS / Hood / Cage (or Loki)

No green? Hmmm. Captain marvel, doctor doom and cmags? Would that work?

How about. “No Tinykitty Given” team - Beast, Doctor Octopus and Bagman.

No Purple is easy: XF, TGT, Hood/Cyclops/IM40/Rocket and Groot

No Black: TGT, IM40, Squirrel Girl/Fury

No Blue: XF, Deadpool, Blade

No Red: XF, Mystique, Fury

No Green: TGT, Hood, Fury/Cyclops/IM40

No Yellow (Hardest one, eliminates almost every 4* and most the best 3*): Blade, Daken, Devil Dino

These are actually great tournament ideas…would really mix things up. I’m a huge fan. You’d see a lot of new team combinations

That’s actually a really good idea for a tourney. Would be really rough for 2* people though, considering how many of the people in there have greenflag.png

actually might be the toughest on reflection, that’s pretty much just OBW, mags, and DAs

No Green:
Nick Fury + 4hor + Hood
Black Panther thrown in maybe

No Red:
Xforce + Hood + Nick Fury

No Yellow:
Loki + Blade + Daken?
This one if actually super tough. I never realized how many characters have a yellow ability haha. Especially the high health ones.

No Blue:
Xforce + Loki + Lazy Thor

No Purple:
Xforce + 4hor + Hood

No Black:
4hor + Nick Fury + Patch

No yellow: MnMags-Mystique- Gamora/Torch/Hulk/Dino/Blade whoever.

Alternatively, Daken-Blade-Deadpool

For 2* No yellow best would be Torch-OBW-Daken, hands down. Can use Mags/Hawkeye here though as an option.

No red can’t have mnmags, it’s OBW-Storm-Daken. (this one’s the most brutal, only other options are Bullseye and Bagman)

Hmmm… if we list the colors, and just put the top players in order, what do we get? (eg x-force, thor4, fury, hood, bp, cap, thor3, daken)

Green, Purple, and Red are a match to suggestions so far. Interesting how so many of the top have yellow or blue powers.
Black doesn’t work because of overlap with thor4 and cap’s red and blue

Mag pink feeds Blue stun. Black is the power hit. Red can be either. Yellow is board shake.

Agreed with OBW, Torch, Daken I’d go with torch over mag here because of usable black and pink purple overlap with obw.

I don’t think any characters should be blocked, just never have a single color spawn on the board. So, if there was no green, you could still use Lazy Thor, but his green power would be useless (unless he can create green tiles?). The extra cascades from having one less color would drive people insane when the AI hits them though.

I have been asking for this for so long! It could be a 6-day event. Each day, a colour is “banned” and you can’t play characters with that colour. Blam! Enforced team diversity. Good to hear another person thought of it. Let’s try to make it gain traction.

No green: bp/hood
No black: lthor/cMags
No red: xforce/hood
No yellow: blade/daken
No blue: xforce/hulk
No purple: xforce/4thor

This would be an interesting pvp, but what if incase of just locking the character they just lock the ability? Passives should not count as there should still be all the colors on the board to avoid insane one move kill cascades. I would like to see this as just a progression pvp like s.i.m.s that they run during break or during the season but just for testing sake. This way no one will complain about the rewards. Preferably an ISO hp token reward simulator to start with.
