Better way to find opponents in lightning events

I’m enjoying the game for the last week, but I found too hard find opponents of my level in lightning events.
As I’m a new player, I’m expecting to see users similar to my level, but the most adversaries that shows up are too high leveled up.

Ok. I could choose to fight against them, but my reward should be muuuch better then.

I think that some kind of list, sorted by rank, should be nice. I could choose what opponent to fight.
The comment above should be true: the higher the opponent’s rank, better the reward; the lower the opponent’s rank, worse the prize.

Well the problem with choosing your opponents is newer players would be food for the veterans. Now, how the matchmaker gets you matches is a much better topic for debate. It’s really in your interest that it exists.
