Ugh - too many people are just grinding out The Hunt, I guess. Ratings for opponents are all in the 300-600 range. Unless something really changes, there’s not much chance of hitting the higher tier progression rewards, and I was hoping to at least make a run for one of those Dooms. Guess I’ll just aim for 1st and be happy when I get tagged at the end and end up with Doom anyways. Although if I nab IW I could actually play some of the Hunt missions that are locked for me!

Also, is it just me, or is anyone else just getting the same 5-10 names cycling over and over?

Buffed Thor is fun to play with though!

You’re in my bracket. I’m contemplating Moonstone because aiming for 2nd takes too much work.

I’m actually finding it hard to win battles and not take damage. Even with boosts.

I recognize nobody on my bracket, and I’ve been 100+ ahead of everyone for the majority of it and consistently above 800

also, this is… so tempting. I’m only running Thor/Wolvie/Daken BUT I THINK I CAN TAKE HIM

I’m confused, though, all the character levels are wrong. Thor is 72, has been for weeks. Ragnarok is 85 and Wolverine is 75.

I was thinking of pushing for 1100 because I hadn’t been attacked in hours, but several people decided to retaliate so I decided not to bother.

matches take so goddamn long with beefy thors. It’s more tedious than the double shot because at least IM40 is slow…thor can ruin you with some lucky cascades

What’s your strategy on that? I was considering running that team, but with the buffs I can’t see using Rag’s red over Thor’s.

The other event is helping massively with this, went from 600 to 1100 this morning with only 1 retaliation along the way, really wanted that Doom cover as well!

the damage comes from thor’s green cascade damage after thunderclap spam.

yea i hit 800 then ran out of people to attack, went to bed, at 650 now icon_e_sad.gif

is anyone getting a bug where you can’t counter attack anyone that attacked you? I got hit for about 200 points but no one to counter?

I’ve got less than 300 points so there must be loads of people with lots more points than me, but the matchmaking system keeps giving me <100 point opponents about half the time (almost all with 75-85 Thor). When it does give me opponents with the same amount of points to me they all have level 85 Thor or near to that. I don’t have a level 85 Thor.
I can beat these teams with boosts, and/or with using health packs after each fight or two, but that’s not sustainable.

I’ve never had this problem before, the matchmaking system previously gave me a wide range of opponents on other tournaments, but now it only gives me opponents much stronger than me, a large percentage of whom are worth less than 20 points to me.
