Black boxes cover up almost everything

What the heck? There are black boxes covering up entire characters, text, pictures, etc.

I quit and reloaded and it’s still happening.

Is there a way that I can upload a picture, from my device?

I play on a GS5 and this happens to me randomly. If restarting the app doesn’t fix it, try restarting the phone?
