I was wondering this a while ago and now that I finally looked at the paper version of Dark Petition, I’m wondering why this became a reanimate instead of a fetch?
Black has almost always had a fetch card in MtG sets. Will we see one in PQ ?

I assume the interface to pick any card in your deck would be too big.
OK but what about choose from the next 3-4? Talent of the Telepath does it easily.
That card is also very different than the card game equivalent, though milling doesn’t do anything in puzzle quest, since you just get a new deck if your library is emptied. Sphinx’s Tutelage uses mana drain instead of mill or fetching. Dreadwaters uses mana drain instead of milling too.

Black gets card draw already in puzzle quest.
Do you feel that card draw is as powerful as fetching a specific card though?
Certainly drawing 3 cards is more powerful than picking one of the top 3. Certainly talent of the telepath is very efficient, but I would argue that Day’s Undoing is even more so. There might not be any black card drawing as efficient now, but not all colors are equal and there are only two sets out right now.
