Is there a link that indicates the currency to buy the +3 to all AP was changing?
It seemed like it changed suddenly last night and I noticed it this morning…
No. That’s why most people are pissed off. They didn’t announce it and when it hit: Boom!
Yeah, I lost money I wouldn’t have lost if had noticed it in an awake state so I’m extra angry about it.
I edited this part of my post because I tried to play it again this morning and definitely not playable for me.
It doesn’t feel right when I have 34 Thor and 30 classic storm against their 25 Thor and 25 Magneto and I still lose. I lost a similar battle right before it also using different boosts. (Lightning round so Dr. Doom was same on both teams)
They’re trying to make boosts for use on special occasions only. So quick pushes between spending another 50HP/100HP (whenever they make up their minds) on a shield, or being able to play PvE at all in future. The 3xall is apparently still in the random drops, so you can accumulate enough for a few matches every fifth tournament or so without paying for them.
Since they failed to announce it outside a footnote after the uproar, you could submit a support ticket detailing when you unwittingly spent HP and see if they’ll refund it on this occasion.
come on, you either had a sucky board on each turn or you can’t play match-3 well yet. the AI is less skilled than a person, so you should never have a problem against a weaker opponent. unless they have extremely lucky moves (this happens, but not every game).
It is possible that 2 battles is not a good gauge on playability, but I am still annoyed that they did an unannounced change in currency boost cost and I have not had a response from them on the ticket I sent to them. I sent the ticket before I posted here.
If you accidentally spent HP on boosts, send in a ticket and see if they give you a refund. IceIX even suggested that, so it’s worth trying. While I’m supportive of the changes I do think they should refund anyone who accidentally purchased those, since buying those is basically second nature and I’d have done exactly the same thing if I didn’t read the forums first.
I received my refund earlier today after submitting a ticket yesterday. It took about 24 hours to process, but it works.
