For those of us who don’t read comics, is there anyone out there who could make lists for who the X-Men or Mutants damage buff works against, and things like that? Like make a list of each +20% damage buff, and which characters it works against?
Are you meaning a hypothetical list? As far as I know there are no buffs/debuffs for one character against another built into the game. There are buffs for certain characters during special events, however.

Do they stack? Like mutants + wolv = 40%?
If you mean mutant + xmen + avenger for wolverine, according to the wiki yes it does stack.

Ares was a Mighty Avenger before Dark Reign. Has anyone checked if the Avengers boost covers him?
