I think the ‘call for backup’ offer was only ever occasional. Not that I’ve kept good track, because it was awful and why would anyone have bought it?
We always see a lot of individual character (4star) spotlight offers for 3,600HP. There’s one of those that runs every 7 days or so, but I think the ‘call for backup’ offer features 2 different 4 stars and is a significantly less frequent sight? Maybe once a month?
The actual rotation timing is very much a guess on my part. I’m sure there were some guys who kept a note of all these things, but they could have packed up and gone home long ago with all the Unity nonsense…
The 3600 offer is for the DDQ COTT essential. Of course that runs weekly as it ties into a weekly event.
But so did the 7k terrible offer. It’s just that no sane person ever bought it (or the Call for Back Up offer).
It’s weird how they persisted with this thing though so maybe more people bought it than we think. Or maybe it got stuck in the system and they couldn’t remove it until now. A bit like that Dr. Strange store that seems to always be there.
No one seems to have mentioned here that the Sentry costume offer had 6 star shards or that there is currently a “Commanding Presence” offer with 6 star shards. Are we not noticing or are we not feeling the need to mention, or am I missing the mentions because I’ve skimmed a few of the posts?
For what it’s worth, I buy the 3600HP offer every week. I’ve only once bought the 7k and 3800HP offers. They’re not great, but the hoarded HP was beginning to build up and I was willing to take any offer to convert HP into ISO.
We are used to the cash offers that include 6* shards, even if they remain somewhat (bafflingly) rare.
There have been almost no chances to use hp and directly get 6* shards (other than maybe 2-3 vaults) and this was a markedly different offer, especially as a thing that has been regularly in game for years.
Hence this was a thing that stood out, a way to convert your hp into 6* progress and possibly a regular one.
