Can alliance status be changed from private back to public?

I hope I don’t get roasted too badly for this but I couldn’t find any information on whether or not an alliance status could be toggled? I used the search feature to no avail. I wanted to know if I made my alliance private to briefly accommodate recruits would I be able to change the status back? I don’t want to find out the hard way.

Yes, you can freely toggle public to private as much as you want, with no cooldown.
