I tried to flag one of the moderator posts, but I got this message instead “You can’t flag a moderator’s post.”
I don’t think this is fair, after all moderator still human.
Isn’t flagging supposed to bring the moderator’s attention to the post? I assume the moderator is already aware of their own posts…
There’s Always the possibility of PMing the mod in question and Point out why you feel the post in question was flag-worthy.
Or PM another moderator to explain the issue if you think a moderator has mistreated you in any way.
As has been noted, the flag feature is meant to bring a problem post to the attention of a moderator. If you find a moderator’s post to be inappropriate, you can either PM the mod in question or another moderator regarding the matter. If you feel are you being mistreated by the mod, you can also PM Brigby.
Obviously, as the OP pointed out, we are still human and thus not infallible but we do our best to serve the forum community. Hopefully if you do have a problem with a mod’s decision you will take the time to explain what the problem is and you both can work out a solution that allows you to speak your mind within the confines of what is acceptable on the forum. Of course, it does not always work out in such a manner but do know that borderline cases and new issues get discussed and debated before a decision is reached.
Finally, please keep in mind that the flag feature is intended to mark posts that are either in violation of the forum rules or spam. It is not intended to be used as a way of disliking a person’s opinion or a mod’s decision.

You used to be able to flag a moderator’s post. Take it from someone who drew a warning for flagging a moderator’s posts.
Heaven forbid the self-admitted fallible mods be held to same standards as the rest of us mere mortals.
