With Rival Elite packs being so much fun, can @Brigby give us a hint on what’s coming next? If it’s Amonkhet or legacy Kaledesh I’ll hold onto my crystals, but if we’re going to be stuck with the Ixalan mythics (ew gross) again it would be great to know now so I can spend everything I got beforehand.

Yeah I’m pretty torn on this. Part of me thinks I should save them like you said.
The other part says “But I want mythics right meow,” (would only make that pun talking to you). lol
In the past, I have had dreadfully awful luck in packing elites, usually the worst mythic followed by a dupe of that exact same mythic forever.
Yet so far my luck with the RIX boosters has been really good. 3/3 elites gave me a different Kamigawa dragon 
I can’t complain either (touches the wooden table twice), 5/5 Elites, no dupe mythics and the green Kamigawa Dragon :3

that’s awesome! I’m envious, the green dragon is the one I wanted the most after Kukusho (the green dragon seems the most likely to get its 2nd ability thanks to green gem-conversion). I have the black and blue dragon which are sweet, but the red one (outside of my Bolas rainbow-of-dragons deck) often does me more harm than good.

Since the Ixalan masterpieces got buffed, they are pretty sweet now. I wouldn’t mind giving my Spiritmonger a friend.
But yeah, the Rivals mythics are much better than the Ixalan ones.
oh yeah, I wouldn’t mind having a few of them around, but would you spend 400 pink crystals with the chance of getting Axis of Mortality instead? 
I dunno, Axis seems quite fun in legacy (Defiant Bloodlord anyone?), and full of possible combos anyway

For a legacy vampire deck, Axis of Mortality would still be too slow for me though
Axis is a rare though … You hopefully can’t pull it from a 400 pinkies pack ^^.
good point! I didn’t bother studying Ixalan’s vault cards in too much depth (mostly because I find it depressing).
