6 assets has to be downloaded today. That’s a bit overkill. I miss when the updates downloaded everything at once
Is your problem that you can now SEE that there are assets you haven’t downloaded yet because you haven’t accessed the new character/event/token art yet? Because that’s the only change. A button that lets you download it pre-emptively with a calculation how much that file size boils down to.
Before you would just download it when you go to that new character/event/token art and wouldn’t realize unless you see the art load.

I don’t know what the game is downloading but it’s kind of weird if you don’t keep up with it that you may end up having to do several in a row.
Presumably yes, it downloads say the art for Spider-Horse when you need it. And then the asset package is still there, maybe smaller because it checks that package vs what you have in game. Idk. It’s an imperfect workaround to a problem.

I check everyday for downloads. I had 2 days of no downloads than the 6 assets to download after that
6-10 assets today and it’s still telling me there are assets to download
If it asks to download all assets, why aren’t we downloading ALL assets? It’s just annoying tapping the button so many times, but I am happy it seems to be helping other people on older devices keep playing.

There is a bug with the remote server, which is where these assets are downloaded from! The team are looking into it.
Once that is resolved, hopefully that resolves these repeated asset download issues!
If this is not related though, I will share any new updates once I have it.
