Its just too much for my 1 cover BP; medusa and carnage dont work (they usually do), i have tried lots of stuff but my health packs are not enough. Kingpin, venom and doc oct are too tricky together…
Any ideas for a 4* team?
Boosted Peggy with IM40’s yellow feeding her blue/red, or boosted Agent Venom with Cloak&Dagger feeding his black have both been viable during this event (on the few levels that weren’t quickest wth typical Grocket/Gamora). Not always that fast, but get the job done.
Doc Ock is a counter to Medusa/Carnage, so that would indeed be a poor team to take to that node. Do you have any of the boosted 4s? Peggy, AVenom both do well if you have them.
For every single node last sub I’ve been playing Nico/Grocket. She boots the strikes to absurdly high levels over time and is not dependent on the AP costs the the hazard tiles manipulate.
However in the 5* Essential node I play IM40/Peggy. At CL8 my single-cover BP has had no problems. Mostly just a Yellow/Red meatshield. The fact that Peggy can stun 2 really helps. Usually leave Ock unstunned since he’s a special tile specialist and this team doesn’t really rely on them aside from IM40s Countdowns.
I’m using Peggy and Vulture, cause AI desperately likes to match IM40 Recharge tiles. Self recovering battery, BP tanking black and Peggy does all the heavy artillery.
Yes, I do but I cant deal damage fast enough; Doc ock wouldnt be an issue if i could focus on him, but if i do, venom destroys me. I’m only missing about 10 champed 4*, Nico is one of those.
Could it be that you are playing Scl9 instead of 8 or even 7?

This was my thought. With one cover he’s probably fighting above his weight class.
One cover 5star and a reliance on unboosted 4stars is not a good recipe for scl 9. You went wrong by choosing an event level above your roster strength. You should have coasted comfortably in 7 or worked hard in scl 8.

Peggy and vulture will do it. gamora and vulture with boosts can work for just about every 9 5e.
I was just about to recommend Vulture/G4mora. Get Vulture in the air, and you can very quickly perma-stun the enemy team. Even un-boosted you are doing enough AOE damage off of Vulture that you can whittle down big hitters. Bring in +2 to blue and black if you need a jumpstart.
How did i do wrong if i have almost a full 4* champed roster? Peggy + Vulture worked, couldnt try Gamora + Vulture because my slice ended. Got top 20, thanks for the tips.
