If you are still having this issue, could you please submit a ticket including your current account UID?
You should be able to see your UID by tapping on the blue UID button in the bottom right of your screen while the application is loading.
Well.. I would if I could. The “error while loading assets” pop up pops up before the UID loads, blocking the screen. There’s a little field for the device ID you can still see - which is empty.
Update - literally a minute later I was able to proceed and to log back into my profile. Do you need any additional informations about anything if you need it for any reasons?if not this can be closed. Thanks !

Also, were you having any network issues at the time that you were aware of?
Finally, could you tell me if you were on WiFi or Mobile Data while this was happening?

It appears to be more complex than I thought. First, to you questions :
I encountered it first around one hour before I posted. I did not open the app earlier today, but was able to play without issues 17 hours before now (so, yesterday).
No network problems. I used wifi.
When I was able to log in, no pw or card images were loaded or tried to load. I was able to start a match and finish it, I including seeing the progression and claiming the reward. During the match, no images apart from the background etc did load (can’t attach Screenshot here).
After trying to restart the app - guess what - error loading assets
