Cap: to add or not add

Hi everyone, I’m drowned in doubts. My roster at the moment consists in a 255 OML and 25-ish 3* capped at 111, plus a couple of 4* at 111 and a bunch of them at lower levels (70-94). With the CW I got (my alleance got) a yellowflag.png
Cap.
So the questions:

  1. Should I add Cap or my scaling would go super-ultra-boom?
    1b) If I add him, should I level my 3s* to 166?
  2. Should I sell OML ( yellowflag.png
    ) for a better scaling and wait to recruit 5* till I got a solid 4* base?

I’d say yes, yes and NOOOOOOO on #3. that might depend on how much iso you have on hand though. how many 3s can you take to 166? if its 6+, I’d take the premium top tier guys up. once you hit about 10 or so at 166, you started getting boosted guys every week and the 5*s don’t change much. as is now, you’ll see a definite change. don’t sell OML. ever. especially yellow. if you stick with the game long enough, it is the single most important cover to have in the game. one that my 2/-/5 OML still lacks. if you sell, you may never see another one, depending on how high you reach in your level of play.

I’ve 1.6m ISO at the moment and 13 fully covered 3*, plus another 10 with 10/12 covers. Levelling those 3* costs me 102k for unit, so I could level them up (remaining with almost no ISO, though).
Should I go for it?

what 13 are they? keys will include im40, cmags, fist, witch, cyke, cage, cap, kk, hood, loki, panther. and the second group of thor, hulk, torch, gsbw, daken, blade, deadpool, doom, patch, grocket would help too. unless you plan on maxing every single 3*, I’d definitely hesitate on ones like sentry, rags, and spidey. if you can have a solid A, B, and C team out of the 13, I’d do it.

extended edit: if you’d like, you could roster 5steve and take your group to 140 to see what its like there. if things feel too tough, take them the rest. with a solid group of 13 though, I don’t think 255s will kill you.

one other thing, it looks like you’ve been playing a while with that much iso built up. where are your 2*s? are they at 144? if so, your 3s should be at least to 140 anyway.

12: Storm, Beast, Patch
11: Dpool, HTorch, Cap, Hood (5/4/2, that last blue is hiding somewhere..)
10: GSBW, Cyc, Cage

Sadly my IF is stuck at 9 (4/3/2); I have few covers of Raven, Quick, Blade and IM40 (got him - and Quick- just after the restyling, now IM is at 1/2/1). No rush on Raven and QSilver, but I’d like to gather covers for IF, IM40 and Blade soon. I’ve joined a (very) good Alliance recently, so I should get more rewards.

I’m not adding to my roster Ragnarok, Sentry or Spidey unless they have a restyling.

As for my 2*, they are capped at 111 together with the 3* (I have CMags, Storm, Ares, HT, OBW plus another that I rotate for PVE essentials) - if I level the 3*, they’d go up too.

from your group at 13 covers, I’d consider all of them except maybe daredevil and doc ock. storm and patch are usefull too. I see your A team as panther, kk, and mags, which is solid. and you have some other utility with others (marvel, doom, grocket, witch, hulk, vision, loki). the one thing I don’t see is steve. steve can be quite important for pve goons and cd control. still, I think you’re ready.

Steve is there, at 11 covers.

I think I’ll wait till the WarMachine PvE starts (there is time in the Cap countdown), then I’ll add Cap and level my 3* to 140. If it gets bad, I’ll bring them to max. And hope for the best icon_lol.gif
