Bought it out as I was sitting on around 34000 CP. Was it a waste, maybe…but I enjoyed it.

I don’t think I’ve ever had that much CP at one time.
And by “that much,” I mean 60 CP, to pull once from this ridiculous thing. Who is this for? This is not the fix for 6​
availability.

That is amazing value for 2100 CP if you are interested in the 6*s. If you are just starting up it might not be worth the CP but if you can afford it, it’s great value.

I’m sure others have stacks of it as well that would make mine look like a pauper. I spend cash and I hoard. I’m very selective on what I spend on. Sadly this is not a trait I have when it comes to silver age comics.

This is part of what seems to be a new approach, or at least today’s new approach.
If you have CP, a place to use it. If you want CP, you could buy it.
If you just want a 6 Cho cover and want to spend $80, there’s a chain with 600 shards total also available.
The vault is up for 2 weeks so it might be an interesting experiment to see how much CP you can gather from only using your tokens and rewards and HP (where it seems worth using) during that time.

Great vault for me as I don’t use my points much at the moment thanks to the current layout which allows me to get the latest 5* champed most of the time
I won’t be able to do this every month but it was a nice surprise at 4am uk time 
just need an iso vault that does similar now as I have quite a lot of that which barely gets used now
It’s for the people that hoard. Which is a lot of us. I’ve always kept over 2000 pulls stored, because I never dipped below doing rolling 550s.
I do spend a bit extra on Classics or 15CP here and there, but it’s just too many dupe 5s to swap.
So you hoard for things like this. Hoarding is so you have opportunities when good things come along. Normally it’s a fan favorite kind of vault. But I’ll take this.

I’m confused. You shared elsewhere that your non-hoarding approach is part of the reason you have almost every single character at 5star level. That’s amazing.
Other people like me have hoarded resources and can now spend it on this vault. That’s great too. And there are plenty of players that have 2600 CP stocked.
As you indicated elsewhere in yet a different thread: people can choose to play the way they want and that is a good part of the game.

I wasn’t brave enough to buy the whole thing so did 2 x 10 pulls which was very nice moving me very close to a cover for Galactus, Cosmic Spidey and Cosmic GR. As this runs for a bit I might see if I can bring in some more CP before going back for another 10 so I can keep my reserve CP around 2000 mark. But I will probably just cave in and buy anyway…

It was an instant buy for me as well. I’ve been a hoarder for a very long time, so even if I’m not super competitive I still had nearly 25K CP saved up. The shards were enough to roster Valkyrie & Cho, and I got another cover for Galactus & Spidey. I also managed to pull a R5 Spider Sense with the support tokens bringing me up to 33 R5 supports.
I also hoard my LT, but may as well just spend a bunch of those at this point. Champing new 5* is easy enough & it’s not like I can use them somewhere else. It’s been a very long time since there was a trio or even a good duo in latest I’d really want to get to high level.

6​ blow everything else away, and totally invalidate all the junky 5​ that I’ve got. And that’s ok. It’s a new tier. But if the only way to get them is to hoard a ton of CP, then there’s only one way to get ahead: hoard a ton of CP. Players should be able to choose to play the way they want.

I see this as the first test of new distribution choices.
You can go spend $80 and get a Cho cover, or you can hoard CP (or see if you can get 108 pulls worth in 2 weeks, which seems completely possible or at least within reach). There’s also some shards in a pick-your-own token in the chain which starts at $20.
It’s possible they’ll have some HP vaults that are less generous but as we have all acknowledged, there is a lot of HP sitting on endgame player accounts and giving people a way to turn something that is easily just accumulated into 100K or more into the hardest to get resource (6* shards) is bad business.
We don’t know what they will do with rewards yet, if anything, to reward just playing the game. But it makes good business sense to first change the offers and put up a vault using a thing that is harder to get/people have less of before you let them know about your plan to bump rewards in play.
On the other hand maybe they will leave the play rewards as is, since they probably really need people to spend money to forestall EoS as long as possible.

This is way better than what they were selling though – it’s 700 Cho shards, 500 of Valkyrie, and 500 of everybody else.
I do like that it’s open for two weeks. Previously a lot of the CP vaults were only open for a day or so, so if you didn’t hoard you were totally out of luck. I might try to hoard the 2000!
As far as rewards, I’m still really confused about why 6​are only in PvE and aren’t in PvP at all. I’m willing to let all of this play out though. It’s not the end of the world.

I’m in the same boat as EB, I don’t hoard either. Only sitting on 84 CP right now. We’ll see what I can collect in two weeks.
I am extremely happy to finally be seeing a way to get 6s though!!

I emptied the vault. None of the recent fives have held my interest. I don’t have the hoards some of you have, but it was still the biggest hoard I’ve ever had because I just plain stopped pulling anything. Might as well.

That’s a very good point.
If they offer these all the time, I wonder if that’d be enough to start up the buyclubs again. I’ve always suspected they’d start back up once the devs offered something that was actually worth buying.
