The fourth and final batch of Champs 2.0 is about to roll out on January 22nd! Here’s the full list of characters that will be ascendable with this latest update.
Champs 2.0 is a feature that we’ve really enjoyed seeing used by our players as it has brought old favs back into the conversations and placed a whole new level of strategy around new ones. With new characters constantly in our pipeline, here’s a timeline of when you’ll be able to ascend future releases.
New 3 & 4-Star Characters:
Starting with 4-Star Multiple Man (Jaime Madrox) originally released on December 28th, players can to expect to ascend a new release once they enter our Classic Pack rotation roughly one month from release. With Multiple Man, that means he’ll be ascendable around the last week of January.
Why the delay in ascending? Once a character is released, this timeline allows players to get familiar with the character and provides our team with extra data to evaluate how their ascension tiers should be balanced.
1★ Yelena Belova (Dark Avengers) was already Ascendable along with the rest of Batch #3 on December 11th. Going un-Limited is more recent and/or coincidental?
Have we ever had official acknowledgement that characters ascended to the 3* level don’t match the “3* No Feeders” list in the spreadsheet? Levels 183, 207, 215, 219, 255, and 265 don’t match.
The differences are that the spreadsheet shows 2 Classic Legends tokens and 3 Heroic tokens, but in game we get 1 Latest Legends token, 50 HP, 4 Command Points, and 7500 Iso-8 (a Mighty token is moved to a different level).
You’re right; my bad. The game alphabetizes all the "The"s together (The Hulk, The Punisher, The Thing) but he listed under “P” for Punisher in Batch 4.

Actually, the “2* No Feeders” list also doesn’t match the in game 1* character ascended to 2* tier. Levels 99, 107, 115, 119, and 127 don’t match. In game, those levels give 2 Heroic tokens and 50 Hero Points. The spreadsheet says those levels should give 2 Heroic tokens, 2 Elite tokens, and one Mighty token.
