I started using this forum for the ‘Character Rankings’ and I understand that is still being worked on, but with so many characters only being good for specific things I thought it would be helpful to do a poll based on their abilities.
Categories include:
Best Single-Target Damager
Best AOE Damager
Best Board Shaker
Best AP Stealer/Drainer
Best AP Generator (Non-Steal)
Best Strike Tile Character
Best Attack Tile Character
Best Defense Tile Character
Best Countdown Tile Character
Best Healer
This poll does not include 4* or 1* characters (with the exception of Juggernaut).
It’s not perfect but if we get enough participants and positive feedback then maybe this is something we can continue.
I’ll post the results next week and maybe even have a rewards ceremony. Thank you and enjoy.

I can’t help but feel the poll’s missing something…
It’s hard to rate these purely by category as most abilities do a couple things.
Was expecting to put Surgical Strike in for option 1. Further, part of the reason I like ambush is that you can hit people with it multiple times, assuming you’re matching the tile → thus multiple targets. For question 8, I put Steve Rogers, but for combination with his Blue, not just Sentinel of Liberty.
Just a comment - I’m worried that category 5, “Best AP Generator (Non-steal)” is probably going to yield some really wonky results. The answer differs, depending on whether you’re talking about AP generation in general, or if you have a specific combo in mind. Tile colour conversion is generally always better than AP generation from tile destruction if you’re comboing. If you’re comboing, it then depends on who’s on your roster whom you’re planning on feeding the AP to.
Do you think Loki should be included for the countdown tile question? I’m not sure it would affect my vote, but it’s a game-changing ability with countdown tiles…

Originally I had AP Generators and Stealers in one question then I decided to separate it, but I understand what you’re saying. As of right now, Ironfist is at 41% which I was quite surprised about but maybe that’s because I don’t have that skill on my IF.
Participation has slowed down a bit compared to the amount of views. We currently have 84 players who completed the survey. We’re almost to our 100 player goal. Again, thank you to everyone who has participated.
41% ? I’m surprised it’s that low. While GSBW’s Deceptive Tactics may be the best single shot skill if cost was no option, the fact that IFoKL is only 5 AP makes it way better than the rest; you can cast it twice compared to something like Thunder Storm.
