When She-Hulk came around, stealing enemy tiles was something pretty rare. But then, so were enemy SAP tiles to begin with. In today’s meta, SAP tiles are more numerous, but this ability didn’t keep pace at all into 4-Star land. This made it so that the ability wasn’t useful when Jen got max champed versus an equivalent use of Hair Meddle from Medusa. Medusa would swap up to half the board and steal ALL the tiles, with tile empowerment as well. This change brings Ms. Walters into the same arena, potentially stealing even more tiles than Medusa AND empowering them more strongly, but not causing the cascades and attendant damage/AP gain that the Inhuman Queen brings to the table.
Furious Charge - 6 Green AP

While a bit niche, this ability is still pretty powerful when used by players, and can be strong when used by the AI as well. As such, didn’t see a need for improvement here.
Old
Power of Attorney - 9 Red AP
She-Hulk strikes the ground, causing the earth to shift under her enemies’ feet. Destroys 10 tiles from the bottom of the board and deals 195 damage to the enemy team. Destroyed tiles don’t deal damage or generate AP. (Max level 609 damage)
Level 2: Deals 283 damage. (Max level 883 damage)
Level 3: Causes a bigger shock-wave, destroying 13 tiles.
Level 5: Destroys 16 tiles and deals 527 damage. (Max level 1644 damage)

Power of Attorney -9 Red AP
She-Hulk strikes the ground, causing the earth to shift under her enemies’ feet. Destroys 10 tiles from the bottom of the board and deals 223 damage to the enemy team. Destroyed tiles don’t deal damage or generate AP. (Max level 695 damage)
Level 5: Destroys 16 tiles and deals 602 damage. (Max level 1877 damage)
While the ability itself is pretty interesting, doing something along with team damage that isn’t really replicated by any other character, the damage itself was pretty anemic compared to other available AoE abilities. So it received a modest upgrade, getting about 15% increased damage while retaining its cascade capability from the board shake.
We hope you enjoy the new and improved Jen Walters. Take her new upgraded power set out for a spin today!
I can always get behind updating older characters, but unless the 3-star phase is going to be meaningfully lengthened for new players, I feel like it might not be the most crucial use of work hours? cough Update could have come with becoming a feeder cough
Theoretically, it should feel like a stepping stone, where arguably before there was a much larger gap between the two. This kind of buff is good because it makes the transition from the 3* to 4* tier more natural, rather than being a significant leap because the 4* meta is so far ahead of the past 3s. It also means a late 3 player will be more in line with an early 4* player in power level. She-Hulk is no Medusa, but now a 3* player could more reliably sub in She-Hulk when they don’t have Medusa.
Of course, most of what I said will only hold true if they keep up with these types of little buffs over time, otherwise it would be too easy to write off in the greater meta with hundreds of characters, you know?
I don’t know who this is, but I feel like it could be a 4* to celebrate Spidey’s 60th like Chasm is the 5*. Don’t they usually try to do a 4* and a 5* for each tie in?
Because for a player in 4-Star land, a max champed She-Hulk and a max leveled Medusa are pretty much right next to one another in overall power. She-Hulk’s 266 and Medusa is 270. In that power band, they’re very comparable. Sure, when you push up to max champ 4-Star or above that’s not the case unless buffs come into play, but there are a lot of players in 3/4-Star land where this is a choice they can now make that wasn’t one before.
