Original Post:
Since no 4* has ever had an increased sell price, I thought I’d try and collect data to find out where the price breaks are. Please post the level of your 4* Thor, and how much ISO and HP she is selling for. Covers do not matter, only level.
I’ll add the amounts to this post so we have a chart for the future. (Unless IceIX or David want to just post the level list for us?
)
For reference, a level 270 Thor sells for 215,217 ISO and 3,000 HP.
I’ve filled out 3* data up to level 103 and entered everything from this thread so far. In general the pattern looks like you always get a bit less than half the ISO you put in, 100/250/500 hp at the first breakpoint (2/0/0 for 2*, 2/1/0 for 3* and 4*), and increments of half that much hp every X levels beyond (X is definitely 13 for 3*, probably something like 20 for 4* and around 8 for 2*).
Updated the table up to 148, which was the breakpoint for 1250 HP (and about as far as my ISO reserves stretched). The levels may be +/- 1 as it seems like the breakpoints are actually in the middle of levels for some reason
I can sell my 12 covers for less than the cost of 1 cover? Oh boy, thanks for adding that buyback option, D3!!! Totally not like spitting in our faces.
i sold my dupe 4hor, mystique, and five 2 cover mmn mags.
remained pretty much iso neutral and came out about 1250 HP ahead. ive been selling off my duplicates anyway since they started with the crazy character release schedule.
mischiefmaker to the rescue again! Your spreadsheets are always appreciated. I still use some of them for determining tile damage and how high characters can level per cover.
I was going to update the original post with a list, but I think I’ll just link to your spreadsheet instead.
Decided to sell the backup 4* Thor I was making, so I filled in every level up to 148. Above that is still a little sparse, so please add your data if you have any!
Selling 2* at level 22 no longer give 100 HP – with the exception of (Iron Fist, Magneto (Marvel NOW!), Mystique, Thor (Goddess of Thunder), and Ragnarok because of the rebalance). I just tried it.
Don’t know whether other buyback have also changed.
Cleaned up the spreadsheet so it aligns with the plot points where the sale values change. Got rid of all the extra data that made it harder to read. The higher levels on the 4-star tier might be off by a few levels (esp. the intermediary ones), so might need to be moved as people figure out the exact locations on the 4* tier, but otherwise this should now give a much clearer idea where values change.
This data is only for increased buyback prices. Regular prices never include HP, and are generally a pitiful amount of ISO, so it’s probably not worth selling unless the character has an increased buyback rate.
