In my utterly uninformed opinion, it feels like the devs are making room for ***** characters.
We’re getting tons of help getting 3-star characters every day, which makes it feel to me like 3-stars are kind of becoming the new 1-stars (that said I’d love to see more 1-stars. I like 'em.)
We’re getting a bunch of 4-stars.
This makes me feel like the stage is being set for 5-stars.
I have nothing to base this on but what I just wrote, but holy carp I hope I’m right!
With Infinity War coming, Thanos and the Celestials are ripe for making 5*s

Just multiply her damage/protect value/hitpoints by ten!
I spec’d up a Hobgoblin that basically makes sense of the Infinity Gauntlet. It’s a powerset that has abilities pop based on whatever tile gets selected. That’s your 6 infinity stones.

Obviously you can flip around the colors. But fully covered, the Infinity Gauntlet ability is a no brainer.
