TwistedThought is a commander of Marvel FTW. He uses a one hit kill hack.
So does Tommy10244. Tommy10244 beat my team of Max Punisher, Max Patch and Max C Mags in the Patch LR with a team of loaner Patch, level 25 Juggs and level 21 or so 2* Thor.
TwistedThought also beat that same LR team. His highest level character is a level 89 Ares, followed by a level 86 X force with 2 yellow covers and a level 55 2* Thor.
Both are clear cheaters. Be warned if you see them, don’t attack them because they will retaliate and one hit kill you.
Everyone in Marvel FTW should be viewed with suspicion as well as a result of their cheater commander.
The alliance now has 20 slots. Each of these members should be viewed with legitimate suspicion given their association with a known cheater like TwistedThought.
Yeah, tommy hit me too. i had maxed boosted characters (including 16K hp hulk) and he beat me with loaner GSBW, 23 moon stone and level 70 4 star wolvie. Glad you guys reported him. luckily they seem to catch the one hit kill guys fairly quickly. The unlimited HP guys not so much…
This will be my last one, I really don’t want to change OP’s topic.
But if they won’t change the game on the app, maybe we should change it on here. Got no clue how to do rewards. But contests for best/worst thread of the week. Weekly player contests such as who can get the angriest hulk, who can beat max level sentry with lowest level team, etc. For real kicks, we can see who can get the most victories in a week against the season leaders…who by pure coincidence have been named in previous such threads as this one. I would love to see their faces if we did that. Of course, this would require someone much more organized than me to put polls of what each weekly contest should be, get contest ideas from players, and of course figure out some kind of reward system.
Hmm…I apologize for Jozier…I should have put this somewhere else…but in fairness…Jozier might like the contest of attacking the season leaders…
Two guys in my alliance reported the same thing about Tommy10244. One of them is a real hard core player. If this Tommy10244 can beat him and his high level roster with a low level team then something is going on. I am not saying that it IS cheating, but It should definitely be looked into. After they told me they had just been beaten by a cheater, I told them to report it. It would be so nice to play a game where no one cheated and every thing was fair. Oh well, dare to dream, huh?
I would settle for CS not taking weeks to do something against cheaters.
For all the devs’ claims of “we have ways to identify cheaters” there’s a pretty darn huge time lag between people being reported and action being taken.
You know, I feel this needs to be said… The devs are hacks. Seriously, what were they thinking? It’s 2014, and this game neither has login-bound data nor server-side controls. What the hell? I mean, one of the other F2P games I’ve played a lot of is Path of Exile. They don’t let the client side get away with ANYTHING. Your characters and everything on them are saved server-side on your unique account, your character’s position and actions in-game are all registered completely server-side, and the only thing the client does is provide feedback from the server and accept inputs… It’s perhaps worth noting that the game is an ARPG. And that this dedication to preventing cheating causes a few very noteworthy gameplay glitches, such as desync, where the server thinks your character is in one place but the client hasn’t updated to reflect that yet. This game could run almost completely server-side with absolutely no detriment. It’s like the perfect candidate for this sort of “trust the client with nothing” action. But instead, it seems to trust the client with, well, basically everything. All that’s missing is a hack to pull specific characters from specific tokens or something and you could literally hack your way to the perfect roster. That’s… not okay. Hell, it’s not even okay when you consider the business model. You guys make money through hero point sales, and there’s a hack which straight-up gives you hero points! It’s like… Really?
