Right out of the gate, multiple teams with OML and/or Jean Grey, i.e. level 376+ enemies. There was even a time where I paid to skip a team with the latter and it pulled up the exact same person again. My strongest character is a championed level 177 Psylocke (who is boosted for this event, but is obviously an ant compared to the boosted 4 and 5 stars I’m constantly seeing), yet every single PvP is full of impossibly tough teams like this, which means I literally have not made it past 500 points in months. I complain about it and have sent feedback to the developers, but nothing ever changes.

What am I supposed to do, suicide myself against all of these guys? I don’t think matchmaking takes wins and losses into consideration any more, though, so I guess I’m up the creek without a paddle and no one could care less.

I saw a team out there with OML and Phoenix champed and boosted. Around 120k health points each.
I dread to think the damage they’d put out…

I champed XFDP yesterday without realising he was boosted for this, so when him and X23 are 2 of my 3 4* champs I might do ok here, but yeah, 5* shoud just never be boosted

I’ve been running my champed 4*s Prof X, Deadpool and Jean. But I have unlevelled 0/0/5 OML and 2/2/2 Phoenix, and now I’m tempted to just try them.

:edit: Tried them over lunch, first time I’ve ever used either, throwing in Prof X. Gosh, a match-5 causes a lot of mayhem. I’ve left that team there, let’s see what happens with attacks.

I’m pretty much ONLY facing OML/Phoenix/some other boosted mutant teams. I can beat them with my 3* team of CSM (boosted)/Cage/GSBW, but just the sheer lack of variety is annoying.

3* spidey is only bad because DPS is all that matters in this game. Literally nothing else matters beyond how fast you can drop the enemy. That and power creep

Ugh, why are the 4* covers I want always buried under an off-season slog?

With a weaker veteran roster AND lower off-season point totals, I just can’t compete for 1k. Its all Phoenix + OML + Iceman teams with 30k health each (or more) and even though I can win, the matches take too long for me to climb. Scraped 911, and was then knocked back below 800 while trying a last match before shielding (so I could. Get above 925 and hop to 1k in a single match). Now I won’t have another chance to build my x-23 for another 90+ days. 4* transition really sucks some times.

Hopefully the devs got the data points they need to see boosting 5*s is a bad idea.
