So we just finished the first long weekend coalition event grind under the new system, and I’ve got to say it has lost the fun.
It just felt like a grind because I knew there would be no exciting payoff at the end. Under the old system carefully playing out the matches with a top 10 coalition was fun because of the excitement of opening that Mythic at the end. Now the reward just isn’t worth it. It’s almost certain that the rare will be a dup, and if not, it is just a rare. Packs are pretty much worthless. Crystals/jewels: meh. I spent all weekend to get barely more crystals than needed for a single daily event. Jewels don’t feel fun because it will be weeks before I can spend them if I’m lucky.
For me the excitement is gone. Too bad. It was fun while it lasted.
Yup.. game is ruined.. I guess I will hang on for a bit longer to help my coalition and see if anything changes. Not playing any individual challenges though
What’s the odds they removed the mythic reward from the likely upcoming inventors fair?
My coalition still had fun – but we have been playing this game since the last terrible updates because we like playing together, not for the rewards. It’s a game, it’s supposed to be fun.
