I would imagine that’s possible, but it’d probably be a bit further down on the priority list. If it’s being converted into a downloadable wallpaper, it would also require Marvel’s approval too, so that would take a bit of time as well.
I had never considered that outside approval would be necessary, but now that you mention it that probably should have been obvious to me. Thanks for the clarification. I certainly understand it being lower on the list than many things, but I also think it’s a shame that some of the art department’s work gets lost for all time after major updates. Regardless, thanks again.
Being a video game artist is kind of like being a sand castle sculptor - you throw a measurable fraction of your life at this thing to make somebody feel some kind of way, and then the tide comes in and it’s as if it were never there. You have to be very zen about these things, or it makes you sad inside.
